The Response Engine is Scout's core proposal generation feature. It takes an uploaded RFP and generates a complete tailored proposal draft using your firm's Knowledge Base in under 2 hours.
Step 1: Upload RFP Drag and drop your RFP document or click to browse. Supported formats are PDF, DOC, DOCX, and TXT up to 10MB. Previously uploaded RFPs appear in the Recent RFPs grid for reuse without re-uploading.
Step 2: Project Details Select the past projects from your Knowledge Base that best match this RFP using the searchable project list. Select the team members you plan to include. In the Decision Maker Intelligence section enter the client organization name and URL, and any decision maker names and LinkedIn URLs. Scout AI will research all of them before generating.
Step 3: Generate Click Generate. Scout AI reads the RFP, matches your projects and team, crawls the client website and decision maker profiles, and writes a complete personalized proposal using your winning proposal history as a style reference. Watch the animated progress steps as Scout works. When generation is complete your full proposal appears in a clean reading view.
After generation Click Edit to make changes directly in the editor. Click Approve to save the proposal to your RFP Vault with an Approved status. From there you can manage sections, assign team members, and move the proposal through the design and submission workflow.
