Documentation

Gap Analysis is Scout's automated compliance checking system. It reads every submittal requirement in your RFP and flags exactly what is missing from your proposal before you submit.

How it works When Scout generates a proposal it automatically runs a gap analysis against the RFP's submittal requirements. Every required form, certification, page limit, section header, supporting document, and compliance item is checked against your proposal content. Missing items are flagged with a clear description of what is needed and where it belongs.

What it checks Scout checks for missing required forms and certifications, page limit violations, required section headers, MBE/WBE and local hiring requirements, insurance and bonding documentation, reference requirements, sample work requirements, and any other submittal items listed in the RFP.

Risk indicators In addition to compliance checking, Scout flags risk indicators in the RFP including unrealistic timelines, unusually low budgets, complex approval processes, security clearance requirements, and prevailing wage requirements. These appear as colored warning chips so you can assess the risk before committing your team's time.
