The Design Studio is Scout's all-in-one collaborative editing workspace where your team writes, refines, and approves proposals without ever leaving the platform.

Sections After a proposal is generated, Scout AI automatically splits the content into sections based on AEC best practices. Each section can be assigned to a specific team member with a due date. Sections include cover letter, project understanding, technical approach, relevant experience, team qualifications, project schedule, fee proposal, and more.

Editing Click into any section to open the full-page section editor. Write and edit directly in the text area. Scout AI Help is available on every section to rewrite, expand, shorten, or improve your content on demand. The editor auto-saves every 30 seconds so no work is ever lost.

Permissions RFP Managers can view and edit all sections. Team members assigned to a section can edit only their own sections. External collaborators receive a secure magic link and can edit their assigned sections without needing a Scout account.

Approval workflow When a team member completes their section they mark it complete and the RFP Manager is notified automatically. When all sections are complete the proposal moves to In Review status. The RFP Manager reviews and approves the final version. Approved proposals can be exported or taken into Figma or Canva for final design.
